External Tools¶

External tools are also referred to as LTI tools. LTI stands for Learning Tools Interoperability, a standard created by IMS Global Learning Consortium. LTI tools allow you to bring rich content into Learning Management Systems, like Isidore, from outside companies. Keep in mind that you must purchase access from some of these companies before you have access to some of these tools.

Learning App	Description
ALEKS	ALEKS provides access to electronic learning resources and assessment tools for students and instructors, created by McGraw-Hill.
Anthology ePortfolio	Formerly known as Chalk & Wire, the Anthology ePortfolio tool allows you to collect students' learning artifacts over time.
Cengage	Cengage provides access to electronic learning resources and assessment tools for students and instructors, created by Cengage.
ExamSoft	ExamSoft allows you to create, administer, and grade exams.
FlipIt Physics	FlipItPhysics is an online learning platform developed by MacMillan Learning for calculus and algebra-based physics courses.
GoReact	GoReact is an LTI tool that uses video assessment for skill development and feedback.
Gradescope	A tool that allows you to administer and grade assessments.
Labflow	Labflow is an LTI tool by Catalyst Education that supports digital learning for lab courses.
MH Connect
Macmillan Learning	McGraw-Hill Connect provides access to electronic learning resources and assessment tools for students and instructors, created by McGraw-Hill.
Pearson	Pearson provides access to electronic learning resources and assessment tools for students and instructors, created by Pearson.
Perusall	Perusall is a third party platform integrated with Isidore that allows instructors to set up readings for students to collectively annotate, respond to each other's comments, and ask questions.
Research Guides	Library Research Guides are research assistance, subject guides, and useful resources compiled by your knowledgeable librarians.
Squarecap	Information about Squarecap can be found at [https://info.squarecap.com/].
Student Success Network	The Student Success Network is an early alert system that runs on the Starfish platform.
Top Hat	Top Hat is the industry-leading active learning platform that pairs with learning management systems to help professors engage and motivate students in online, blended and face-to-face courses.
UDiversity	UDiversity is a short training module on topics related to diversity and cultural awareness.
WW Norton	W.W. Norton provides access to electronic learning resources and assessment tools for students and instructors, created by W.W. Norton.
Warpwire	A secure video storage and sharing product.
Zosimos	Zosimos is an LTI tool that is an online learning platform used in chemistry classes.
