How to install external tools in your course site

Installing an External Tool in the Left-Hand Menu

To install external tools to the left-hand course menu:

1. Navigate to the Site Info tool.
2. Click on Add/Remove Tools.
3. Click on External Tools near the bottom of the page to expand the list.
4. Check the box next to the tool you wish to install.
5. You may need to provide configuration parameters or settings, depending on how things are configured.
6. Click on Continue.
7. Click on Finish.

Installing an External Tool in Lessons

To install an external tool in a Lessons tool:

1. Navigate to the Lessons page or subpage where you would like to install the tool.
2. Click on Add Content and then Add External Tool.
3. Select the tool from the list.
4. You may need to provide configuration parameters or settings.
5. Click on Save.
