The Tokens learning app allows instructors to setup a token economy for their classroom. Students are allowed to submit a specified number of tokens in order to be excused from different course aspects, including missing class, turning in assignments late, etc.

- The recommended amount of tokens issued per semester is about 5. Most token economies consist of issuing 5-10 tokens to students.

- Do students receive email notifications about tokens requests?
- Yes, students receive email notifications when they request to use a token, as well as when an instructor accepts or rejects a token request.
- Do instructors receive email notifications when students request to use tokens?
- Yes, instructors receive email notifications when students request to use their tokens (by default). However, there is a setting to opt-out of these notifications.
- If a student has gone above and beyond in some manner, can I award them additional tokens?
