The Tokens learning app allows instructors to setup a token economy for their classroom. Students are allowed to submit a specified number of tokens in order to be excused from different course aspects, including missing class, turning in assignments late, etc.

How many tokens should be issued for the semester?
The recommended amount of tokens issued per semester is about 5. Most token economies consist of issuing 5-10 tokens to students.

Do students receive email notifications about tokens requests?
Yes, students receive email notifications when they request to use a token, as well as when an instructor accepts or rejects a token request.
Do instructors receive email notifications when students request to use tokens?
Yes, instructors receive email notifications when students request to use their tokens (by default). However, there is a setting to opt-out of these notifications.
If a student has gone above and beyond in some manner, can I award them additional tokens?
