Review submitted study questions

The list of study questions is sorted by "Most Votes" as the default, but you can temporarily change the sort order by using the "Sort by" drop-down menu and selecting "Newest".

Reviewing Questions & Answers

To review study questions added by other individuals:

  1. Navigate to an instance of a study question on a Lessons page or subpage and click on the link.
  2. Any study questions that have been added by others will appear in a list. Some instructors may choose to enable a setting where students must post their own study question before being able to see questions posted by others. In that case, you'll need to follow the steps to add a study question before you're able to see the list of questions.

  3. Click on Click to Reveal Answer to view the answer to a study question.

    • If you're an instructor, you can click on the Mark as verified link to show students you've verified that their question and answer are accurate. The button should now read "Verified answer".
    • If you're a student, answers that have been reviewed by your instructor will have text reading, "Verified answer" next to them.

  4. You can also verify additional answers by following the steps above after clicking on Reveal Answers.

Editing Questions & Answers

Students can edit and delete their own questions and answers. Instructors can edit and delete everyone's questions and answers.

To edit a study question and/or answer:

  1. Navigate to an instance of a study question on a Lessons page or subpage and click on the link.
  2. Click on the study question you want to modify.
  3. Click on Edit Q&A.
  4. Make the desired changes and click on the Save button.
  5. You can also edit additional answers by following the steps above after clicking on Reveal Answers.

Deleting Questions & Answers

Please be cautious when deleting data from Study Questions, as the data is not recoverable.

Students can edit and delete their own questions and answers. Instructors can edit and delete everyone's questions and answers.

To delete a study question and/or answer:

  1. Navigate to an instance of a study question on a Lessons page or subpage and click on the link.
  2. Click on the study question you want to modify.
  3. Click on Edit Q&A.
  4. Click on Delete Question.
  5. Click on OK to confirm deletion.
  6. You can also delete additional answers by following the steps above after clicking on Reveal Answers.
