Adding a Quick Poll

To add a Quick Poll:

  1. Click on the link of the Quick Poll instance you added to your site.

  2. There are two ways to add a poll.

    • To add a new poll, click on + Add Active Poll.
    • To add a poll you've previously used in the site, expand the Poll Library section and toggle the switch next to it to "on". This will make the previously used poll active.

  3. If you're adding a new poll, enter a question and some answer choices.

  4. Adjust the poll settings.
  5. Choose whether you want the poll to be active. Once it's active, students will be able to respond to it.
  6. Click on Submit.

Editing a Quick Poll

Please note that a Quick Poll cannot be edited once students have responded. In order to edit the poll, you'll need to clear the results, which aren't recoverable. Once the results are cleared, you'll be able to edit the poll.

To edit a Quick Poll:

  1. Click on the link of the Quick Poll instance you added to your site.

  2. If the poll you would like to modify is active, click on the edit (pencil) icon. If the poll you would like to modify is inactive, click to expand the Poll Library and click on the edit (pencil) icon next to it.

    • If students have already responded to the poll, you can't modify the poll unless you delete their responses. To do this, you'll need to click on Reset All Responses and then OK to confirm the reset.

  3. Make the desired changes.

  4. Click on Submit.

Deleting a Quick Poll

Please be aware that any data deleted from the Quick Poll learning app is not recoverable. In order to delete the poll, you'll need to clear the results, which aren't recoverable. Once the results are cleared, you'll be able to delete the poll.

To delete a Quick Poll:

  1. Click on the link of the Quick Poll instance you added to your site.

  2. If the poll you want to delete is the active poll, click on the edit (pencil) icon.

    • If students have already responded to the poll, you can't delete the poll unless you delete their responses. To do this, you'll need to click on Reset All Responses and then OK to confirm the reset.

  3. Click on Delete Poll.

  4. Click on OK to confirm deletion.
