Link to a Card Set

The Flashcards tool be set up so that the first flashcard of a given set is immediately displayed as soon as a student clicks on the tool. This is called linking to a card set.

Steps to link to a Card Set

1. Navigate to the Flashcards tool.
2. Click the Link to Card Set button in the bar across the top of the tool.
3. Choose the card set you would like students to see when they access the tool from the dropdown menu of available sets.
4. Click the Link to Flashcard Set button to link to the set.
5. The main page of Flashcards will now say that this instance of Flashcards is linked to whichever set you selected. Students will see the first card of that set whenever they access the tool.

Steps to unlink a Card Set

1. Navigate to the Flashcards tool.
2. Click the Link to Card Set button in the bar across the top of the tool.
3. The card set that is linked will show up in the list.
4. Click the Unlink button to unlink the set.
5. The main page of Flashcards will now display all published flashcard sets to students.
